The Wright Law Offices, LLC was established by Louie Wright to provide competent and affordable legal advice to labor unions and working people.  Louie’s experience as a union officer and representative informed his view that competent, affordable representation should be readily available to working people and unions. 

With regard to his representation of labor unions, part of his mission is to train union representatives and leaders to possess skill sets that will reduce their reliance on having to use lawyers.  As such, Louie provides training in a variety of areas, which include: organizing; contract negotiations;  financial analysis and preparation for bargaining; handling and processing grievance; and labor-management relations. 

Before attending law school, Louie gained a wealth of experience as the President and Business Manager of a prominent public sector local union, in the Greater Kansas City Area.  After graduating from law school, rather than seeking employment at one of the Silk Stocking Firms, Louie successfully ran to be re-elected President of his local union.  He also was elected to serve multiple terms as an international vice president, representing members in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. While serving in these roles, Louie successfully organized the first group of public prosecutors unionized, in the state of Missouri.  In 2011, when Louie decided to step away from his role in his local union, the general membership unanimously voted to name him President Emeritus.  Notably, Louie’s local union has continuously held its Charter since 1918, and Louie is the only person who has been bestowed that honor.
